It was my first time having a fish Po Boy, but I already know I just had the gold standard of such a sandwich.
Very soulful food. Got a chance to meet Mrs. Estralita herself and she was as warm and welcoming as I could imagine! I am vegan, and ordered the collard greens and mixed vegetables. Big portions for the price. Highly recommend this restaurant for its ingredients and amazing customer service.
Everyone was kind a clean environment and loved the nachos
My husband and I dined there twice and both times were exceptional. The food is amazing and the customer service is top tier! (They had a banana cake one time that I cannot forget, lol.) The absolute best! Try them out if/when in the area. You won't be disappointed.
Best mirliton dressing on the planet! its not always available but when it is you better get some. Catfish is our favorite but everything is amazing.
OmG the Food was very Good I had the spaghetti and meat sauce I enjoyed everything I recommend anybody who’s on the West Bank to go there and oh my God the sweet potato pie is also good. Please try her desserts. We won’t be disappointed.
Man these ladies know how to cook. Makes me feel like I’m eating home cooking. “The little place with BIG taste” is their motto, and they live up to it!!
I've been coming to this place since I was a kid and Estralita's cooking has always been fantastic. The fried fish is the best in the city.

Yesterday, I went to this quaint cafe in Westwego. I ordered grilled fish-tilapia with sides(potato salad and green beans). Everything was cooked to perfection and tasted great. Ms. Estralita (owner) was very nice while taking my order. She gave me a nice serving (sample of her bread pudding) which was fabulous as well. This place was recommended to me so I am so glad I tried it out! I will definitely be back. C. Allison 😇
